Chatts Cottage is a self catering, luxurious, pet friendly holiday cottage located close to the centre of the picturesque village of Aberdyfi (Aberdovey) within a three minute walk from the sandy beach. Visit Wales 3*** Graded

The cottage dates back to 1830 and stands sideways up a small drive off Church Street. A short flight of steps lead to the property which has been carefully modernised to retain its old world charm.  The cottage has its own drive and provides parking for one medium size car, in addition to one car parking permit for use on either of the two Pay & Display Car Parks.

The Schreiber kitchen is very well equipped with a fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, a large Stoves electric cooker and electric heating. Utensils here are plentiful to cater for all occasions, from a Traditional Sunday Roast of Local Welsh Lamb, to Christmas Day Lunch!

The large dining table with 8 chairs is more than adequate to seat people comfortably. There is also a high chair to cater for the junior family members.

The lounge has a beamed ceiling, inglenook fireplace and the original slate floor. Seating is provided by way of two large leather settees and a separate armchair. Heating is provided throughout, there is a television with DVD player and a CD / radio / cassette player. Heating in the lounge is by way of an attractive stove electric fire.

Traditional upright twisting stairs lead to the first floor.  The cottage has four bedrooms and sleeps at least 6 guests, we can sleep 8 so please enquire, but as our tariff is based on 6 guests additional charges will apply.

The first bedroom on the right has separate access with twin single beds, electric heating, wash basin, shaver socket, a fitted wardrobe and a large chest of drawers.

The  bathroom has a heated towel rail, a fully tiled shower over bath & W.C.

The second bedroom has a double bed, wash hand basin, shaver socket, storage and hanging space.  Please note that this bedroom leads directly into the next double bedroom. Heating is by way of Electric Night Storage Heaters, with additional oil filled heaters for those colder nights!

The third adjoining bedroom has a double bed, large wardrobe and electric heating. Leading out of this room is the fourth bedroom with bunk beds, wash hand basin with water heater, shaver socket, heating and storage.

Outside the third and fourth bedrooms is a large balcony with views over the estuary to Ynyslas and down the coastline.
