More information on COVID-19 for our guests and owners

Here at Aberdovey Cottages, we are doing everything that we can to ensure that everyone stays safe.  We ask that our owners and guests do so too.

The Welsh Assembly Government, have asked that we continue to maintain the 2 metre social distancing rule, in order to contain and prevent the spread of coronavirus (covid-19). Please allso use face coverings when using public transport or visiting local shops.

The re-opening date for self catering accommodation in Wales is 11th July 2020 as confirmed by the Welsh Government on 10th July 2020

New bookings from 13th July 2020
We are now accepting new bookings after 13 July 2020, please bear in mind when making a booking that our usual terms and conditions will apply regarding cancellations. All new bookings are made entirely at the guests own risk. With the additional covid-19 cleaning time required and higher costs, and the increased risks now involved for our servicing staff, we have decided to offer stays of 7 nights only.

All bookings from 13th July 2020
Unfortunately we have had to withdraw use of sofa beds, towels, cots, high chairs from our properties to assist with the increased work load that our servicing team now has to cope with.  You will also find that all unnecessary items like books, games, dvds, ornaments etc will have been removed from the properties. Please assist us in every way you can, by leaving the properties clean and tidy, opening windows and place all used bedding, tea towels etc in the laundry bag provided. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you, but we do hope that you will understand, and appreciate that these measures are absolutely necessary to ensure your safety, as well as that of our servicing team.

Check-in and Departure Times
We have found it necessary to amend our time of arrival to 17.00 hours  and checkout is 09.30 hours prompt.
These times have been put in place for your safety as well as our servicing and maintenance team. We regret that we are unable to offer you an earlier check-in or later departure during the next few months.

Number of Guests in Holiday Properties
Please do not allow anyone other than the permitted number of guests who have been named at the time of making a booking into any of our properties. We have been informed by the Government of Wales told that all guests in each property must all be from the same household only.

If you do decide to cancel your holiday, please be aware that bookings are non-refundable. We strongly recommend that you contact your travel insurance provider to check that you are covered. We always advise our guests that they should take out travel insurance to cover against illness, unexpected events and unexpected travel disruption. If you have followed our recommendation, and have the appropriate insurance, then we will be happy to provide you with the information required to make a claim.  If you do decide to cancel please contact us by email or post, as we do require written confirmation. Please state the documentation that you require.
